Andrea Goldman creates videos, drawings, and songs that enact dialogues between brilliant animals, canonical authors, children’s choirs, ideological bodies, and other doppelgangers. Her characters use humor and dialogue to upset dichotomies between [quoteRotator]

Andrea has shown at venues such as Performing Arts Chicago, The Reading Room in Dallas, Apex Art in New York, The 2011 Texas Biennial Screening at Arthouse in Austin, Swarm Gallery in Oakland, and the Custor Observatory in Long Island. In 2004, she completed her MFA at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with full merit scholarship. In Chicago, she also studied performance and experimental writing with the performance group Goat Island. In 2008-2009, she made monthly writing contributions to the Judd Morrissey/Goat Island new media piece The Last Performance, which was shown internationally.

Living in New York, Andrea is currently working on several projects, including me and ooooo, a collaborative music/video project about books, song, and the possibility of dialogue.
